The works on display, by Bodil Hedlund, Dorina Mocan, Maria Manuela and Danka Jaworska move the gender debate beyond 'feminist' and attempt to derive meaning instead from experiences of and reactions to life that are universal, combining innocence and experience, ancient and modern aesthetics,and sometimes conflicting concepts of beauty.
