The Grey House Foundation is a partner of the first edition of the international  festival DESIGN ATTACK

The Design Attack Festival is the first such great event devoted to design in Kraków. The Festival is international and one of its premises is extensive cooperation of the organiser (Fundacja Forum from Kraków) with partners in Poland and around the world, with special attention given to Austrian partners. The Festival is a review of newest trends in international design, in particular at the Austrian stage, as well as presentation of concepts and future visions of designers and companies dealing with design and production of prototypes. Exhibitions within the framework of the Festival will encompass industrial design, fashion, interior architecture, utility prints (including outdoor), typography and graphic identification. The concept of the Festival relies on juxtaposition of proprietary design/ unique design with mass production. An important element of verification of designers is the impact of Austrian design tradition on modern pattern design.

The Festival will be divided into two main thematic sections: Young Austrian Design and Materials of the Future and a conference, as well as accompanying exhibitions, workshops and meetings.

 

 From 2 August 2010, in the small inner courtyard of the Grey House, an exhibition of works entered for the Photo Day 8.0 photographic competition will go on display. The theme of the exhibition is ecology, with a special emphasis on… rubbish.
